“The breeze has followed me across the sea.” The living room deck offers expansive views of the sea and the rocks below. Additionally, there is a private deck off the master suite. Master suite has its own bathroom with shower and tub. Not only, but also, there is the pool deck! Three levels of tiered decks.
The Area
Visit Nahant Beach, our largest public beach. Short Beach is a 10 minute walk from the house as well as the main beach. Short Beach is smaller and more private. There are bathrooms and outdoor showers by the coast guard station. It’s a heavenly way to spend the afternoon. Additionally there is Tudor beach and Canoe beach (known for the pebbles and scuba diving)!
Nahant Historical Society
Be sure to visit the Nahant Historical Society if you are a history buff. Their mission is to acquire, preserve and interpret artifacts of Nahant, Massachusetts, illustrating its history, prehistory and that of people associated with it, for the enjoyment, education and enrichment of the public.
The Nahant Thicket
At just four acres, Nahant Thicket is among Mass Audubon’s smallest wildlife sanctuaries. Yet it’s an inviting spot for hundreds of migrating songbirds such as warblers, vireos, and thrushes passing through each year.

Salem
Salem is 8 miles north. Things to in Salem: Peabody Essex Musuem;
House of Seven Gables; Salem Witch Museum. Marblehead is 7.5 miles north. Check out Marblehead Museum, or Fort Sewall, or Old Burial Hill.
For one of the best lobster rolls around, go to historical Kelly’s roast beef on Revere Beach, it’s 6 miles away, you can even use door dash for delivery. Boston is 13 miles! Certainly you can spend a day in Boston alone. Basically, Nahant’s location is ideal if you want to explore from the city to the shore.

Beautiful sunrise and sunsets….sail boats meander by and seagulls soar. In addition to the master suite there are two bedrooms. Eclectic art and unique furniture reflect the world travels of the owner who is a retired flight attendant and songstress. There is a study/ library room. Views of Swampscott and Marblehead off in a distance.
The full service Nahant Beach, is a five minute walk away. Come spend time in Nahant.. only 13 miles from Boston and Logan airport. You’ll never forget your time spent at Glocca Morra.
